Michelle McHale DDS

Dr. Michelle McHaleDr. Michelle McHale obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree and graduated with High Distinction from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Following dental school, she completed a general practice residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she furthered her general dental skills in oral surgery, fixed and removable prosthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and periodontics. Dr. McHale completed her periodontal training at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry’s Advanced Education in Periodontics and received her certificate. She also obtained her Master of Science during her periodontal training. Dr. McHale presented her research at the 2016 International Association of Dental Research conference in Seoul, Korea. Dr. McHale has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty and has earned her certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. McHale values patient relationships and education. She aims to help her patients achieve a better quality of life by improving oral health and overall health. Dr. McHale listens to patients’ needs and concerns to develop treatment plans with referring dentists that provide patients with optimal care. She performs all aspects of periodontal treatment including treatment of periodontal disease, soft and hard tissue grafts, tooth extractions, sinus lifts, and placement of dental implants.

Dr. McHale is a member of several professional organizations and is dedicated to her field through active participation and attending continuing education courses in order to provide her patients with the best possible care. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Midwest Society of Periodontists, American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, and the Fifth District Dental Society.

Dr. McHale is from Minneapolis, Minnesota where she was born and raised. She attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska for her undergraduate studies where she double majored in Biology and Spanish. She and her husband are the proud parents of two young boys. She enjoys spending time with her family, running, biking, and travelling.
